WP 2.1 und Memory allocation error bei Strato

Habe mir deine php.ini-Datei nun ins wp-admin-Verzeichnis kopiert, ändert aber auch nichts am Fehler 500.

Oder muss sie noch ganz woanders hin?
(Lt. eben kurz im anderen Verzeichnis getesteter phpinfo wird sie immerhin erkannt.)

Was mich zudem etwas wundert, Dein phpinfo zeigt keinen Wert für memory_limit an. Kannst Du mal bitte die php.ini auch in das Blog-Wurzelverzeichnis tun?

Gut, es scheint ja wirklich so zu sein, daß die php.ini akzeptiert wird. Die Werte z.B. für max_execution_time und max_input_time werden ja auch übernommen. Nur beim memory_limit tut sich nichts, das wird noch nicht mal angezeigt. Komische Sache.
Da kann wohl wirklich nur der Webhoster weiterhelfen.
Hast Du nur nach der php.ini gefragt, oder konkret nach dem memory_limit?

Was steht bei Dir eigentlich für ein Wert in der Fehlermeldung bei "size of":

Das sind aber schon etwas andere Meldungen, als die hier im erste Beitrag beschriebene:
WP 2.1 und Memory allocation error bei Strato

Ich hatte eigentlich gehofft, das man mit dem size of ... erstmal rausbekommt, wieviel Speicher überhaupt zur Verfügung steht, wenn es schon nicht mit phpinfo angezeigt wird.
Möglicherweise hat das Problem noch nicht mal was mit PHP direkt zu tun, könnte auch am Apache-Webserver selber liegen, oder an MySQL.

Ansonsten fällt mir nur ein, daß die php.ini auch mal in das Pluginverzeichnis, und sofern es dort Plugins in eigenen Unterverzeichnissen gibt, auch dorthinein kopiert werden könnte. Vielleicht hilfts, ansonsten bin ich mit meinem Latein am Ende.

ich habe, nachdem meine Seite einen Tag bei Strato gesperrt war, nun plötzlich auch dieses Problem bei einem meiner Blogs (soccergirlz). davor war der fehler nicht aufgetaucht....

(Was der Strato-Typ dazu zu sagen hatte, könnt ihr hier sehen).

Will nun das mit der php.ini versuchen, bin da aber nicht so bewandt und möchte zur Sicherheit nochmal nachfragen:

Ich erschaffe mit dem text editor eine neue Datei namens php.ini, schreibe dort

?>

hinein und kopiere die datei in mein 'wp-admin'-Verzeichnis.. stimmt das so??

Hab das nun so gemacht. Fehler bleibt. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /mnt/web2/32/79/5600479/htdocs/soccergirlz/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 257

Erhöhe ich dann den Wert auf 64 M ... auch...
